A publishing event of international scope, to remember and celebrate one of Italy’s (and Europe’s) greatest intellectuals and writers: Giorgio Pressburger. Under the title “Sul fondo della coscienza” (In the Depth of the Consciousness) three films are released: L’orologio di Monaco (2014, presented at the Rome Film Festival), Il profumo del tempo delle favole (2016, Venice International Film Festival – Venice Days, awarded a Special Silver Ribbon for Lifetime Achievement to Pressburger), La legge degli spazi bianchi (2019, 76th Venice International Film Festival – Venice Days, finalist candidate for the Nastri d’Argento DOC 2020), three titles that succeeded in describing with visionary power and with the voice of its protagonist, the journey of a man whose knowledge and multifaceted career embraced centuries of knowledge, cultures, perspectives.

These works are a combination of recollections, documentation and confession, they are precious testimonies that turn into a profound investigation of the human soul and of the most obscure mysteries that have always fascinated and frightened mankind, in the perennial search for the meaning and sense of life.
