A pleasant meeting with Professor Tadahiko Wada was held in Bologna to discuss about Giorgio Pressburger and the future projects of the Association, with a focus on Japan. Professor Wada, the translator of, among others, Italo Calvino, Umberto Eco and Antonio Tabucchi, donated to the G.P. Collection a copy of his article dedicated to “Stories from the Eighth District”, now included in his book “The Voice, As Not Meaning”, enriched with a dedication to Giorgio Pressburger. During the meeting, Prof. Wada shared the main first-hand experiences with some great figures of literature, such as Italo Calvino, Andrea Zanzotto, but also Claudio Magris, Imre Kertész, and Giorgio Pressburger.
